Just after 4pm on Monday 30 May we responded to a two-car collision on Kenpas Highway, Canley.

Two fire engines attended, crewed by eight firefighters from Coventry and Northfield fire stations. The first arrived four minutes after being mobilised.

One of the vehicles had two female occupants, one of whom managed to get herself out. Our crews needed to remove the vehicle’s roof to safely free the other occupant before she was taken to hospital by ambulance.

A man and a woman in the other car were given precautionary checks at the scene.
