Cannabis-growing equipment appears to have started a bedroom fire in Coventry this morning (6 Feb).

Three fire engines, crewed by firefighters from Coventry and Foleshill fire stations, responded to Stoney Stanton Road just after 9.15am. The first arrived within three minutes of being mobilised.

They wore breathing apparatus and used hose reels to extinguish the fire, which was in a first-floor bedroom of a terraced house. It was out by 10.05am.
