Fire in industrial unit - Whitmore Reans

At 9.58am on Tuesday 14 June we responded to a fire involving two vehicles in an industrial unit in Whitmore Reans, Wolverhampton.

Five fire engines and a 4x4 Brigade Response Vehicle attended, crewed by around 30 firefighters from five Black Country fire stations.

Our first crew arrived five minutes after being mobilised to the Dunstall Hill Trading Estate, Gorsebrook Road.

Firefighters wore breathing apparatus and used hose reel jets and a main jet to extinguish the fire. It involved a car and a van, and was confirmed to be out within half an hour.

The ambulance service gave precautionary checks to one person at the scene.
