30 firefighters tackle a factory fire on Norton Street, Winson Green, believed to have been started due to an electrical issue.

At 12.01am on Monday 6 February, we were alerted to a fire in a factory unit on Norton Street, Winson Green, Birmingham. The incident involved a fire on the ground floor of the factory and is believed to have started due to an electrical issue. A total of five fire engines and a 4×4 Brigade Response Vehicle, crewed by some 30 firefighters, attended the incident at its peak. They worked with an aerial platform to quickly contain and extinguish the fire. No-one was trapped or injured and the fire was confirmed to be out at 1.45am. We left the scene at 7.41am.
