I am writing to confirm that the West Midlands Fire Service has now completed its search for the information you requested further to your freedom of information request. 

Please find below a summary of our findings.

Please could you tell me how many electric vehicle fires your fire and rescue service has dealt with in each of the past three financial years 

Reply 

2020 – 3 

2021 – 2 

2022 – 10 

2023 – 1  (as of June 2023)  

Please note: The data only includes vehicles where the fuel type selected was ‘Electric’.
