RE: FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT 2000 REQUEST  

West Midlands Fire Service has now completed its search for the information requested on 07^th July 2022.

Please find below a summary of our findings.

Request.

We are collecting information under the Freedom of Information Act about pay and employment practices of Chief Fire Officers (CFOs).

Specifically, we would like to know:

(a) the current salary (or salary band) of the current CFO and

b) whether the current or former CFO (since 2010) has retired and then been re-engaged in the service via a paid role?

The current CFO has been in role since 2014 to present and no former CFO has retired and then been re-engaged in WMFS via a paid role.
