I am writing to confirm that the West Midlands Fire Service has now completed its search for the information you requested further to your freedom of information request.
Please find below a summary of our findings.
This is an information request relating to Pride Month.
Please include the following information:
Whether any events have been organised for Pride month. If so please provide the date, start and end time, and title/topic of the event
We have not organised any events this year for Pride Month however, on the weekend before Pride Month for Birmingham Pride (27th May 2023) West Midlands Fire Service hosted a tri-service emergency services breakfast from 8:45am and then attended the parade at 10:30am.
During Pride Month (June) we encourage the Pride Flag to be flown by stations.
Whether any LGBT themed merchandise has been purchased for Pride month. i.e. since the beginning of the 2023/24 financial year. If so please provide me with information on what has been purchased and the cost
Please see attached Pride related purchases since the start of the financial year.
Whether the organisation has sponsored any Pride events. If so which events and please provide details of the nature of the sponsorship (particularly the financial value)
No, we do not sponsor any events
