I am writing to confirm that the West Midlands Fire Service has now completed its search for the information you requested further to your freedom of information request. 

Please find below a summary of our findings. 

Request 

This is an information request relating to purchases of LGBT lanyards, LGBT flags and the installation of gender neutral toilets. 
Please include the information for each of the following periods; 2019-20, 2020-21, 2021-22: 

• Annual installations of gender neutral toilets. By gender neutral toilets I mean multiple occupancy toilets which any gender can use. Please do not include single-occupancy or disabled toilets

2020 - 21 - No installations 
2021 - 22 - No installations 

Request 

• Annual purchases of LGBT+ flags (rainbow flags and derivatives) including the total number of LGBT+ flags purchased 
• Annual purchases of LGBT+ lanyards (lanyards with rainbow detailing) including the total number of LGBT+ lanyards purchased

2020 - 21 - Number of LGBT Flags and Lanyards purchased- 0 
2021 - 22 - 42 Rainbow Flags purchased on 16/05/22 and 400 Fabric LGBT Wristbands purchased on 28/09/21 

Request 

Can you please advise me on the total expenditure on each item purchased?

Installation of gender-neutral toilet at our Transport Engineering Workshops was £12,936.19 in total. 

Total spend on Rainbow Flags was £2843.00 

Total spend on LGBT Wristbands was £215.00
