- The services provided under this contract the provision of laundry services – required for rental and non-rental items at all sites within West Midlands Fire Authority,
including weekly collection and delivery of Items
The Rental items include Bath Towels, Tea Towels and Aprons for 41 Fire Service locations.
Provision of Workwear Coveralls is required for the Transport Engineering Workshop only and these garments must be dry cleaned. Other non-rental items requiring to be sent for laundry on an ad-hoc basis include but is not limited to, Fleeces, Trousers, t-shirts, Sweatshirts, Polo shirts, Hi-Viz jerkins/coats, Cooks clothing, Water Rescue Under-suits, Oven gloves, dish cloths, dusters and tablecloths.
Collections/deliveries of ‘Rental Items’ are required to be made on a weekly basis at all Fire Stations and Headquarters and Transport Engineering Workshops (TEW).
