I am writing to confirm that the West Midlands Fire Service has now completed its search for the information you requested further to your freedom of information request.

This information is exempt under section 21 of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 as this information is reasonably accessible to the requestor. Information concerning fire safety inspection can be found on the home office website at the following links:

To your knowledge, how many hotels, guest houses or similar are there in your jurisdiction with ACM cladding?

Currently West Midlands Fire Service are undertaking a proactive auditing process of all hotels in preparation for the Commonwealth Games. To our knowledge at this point in time there has only been 1 hotel within the West Midlands Fire Service Area, with flammable cladding on it. This building is under remediation at present.
