RE: FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT 2000 REQUEST

West Midlands Fire Service has now completed its search for the information requested on 14th February 2019

Please find below a summary of our findings.

Request

A request under the Freedom of Information Act.

As per the Act, I would appreciate a response by 15 March (within 20 working days) to the following questions:
1. Does your organisation pay the Living Wage (£9.00 an hour) to all directly-employed staff?
2. Does your organisation pay the Living Wage (£9.00 an hour) to all contracted workers?
3. Are you a Living Wage Employer, accredited by the Living Wage Foundation?
a. If you are not an accredited Living Wage Employer already, do you have plans to seek accreditation in 2019/20?

West Midlands Fire Service does pay all staff the living wage and we are an accredited living wage employer. Further information can be found on Living Wage Foundation Website on the link below
