Hobbies are mostly sporting, including playing and watching football and coaching an Under-15s football team.

Work history

Worked across the service as a firefighter and supervisory officer across the Black Country, before moving into middle manager roles as a Station Commander at stations in Birmingham and the Black Country.

He also led the Incident Command Development Centre and operational training, before becoming Operations Commander in Birmingham and the Black Country.
