Marc has had an extensive career within West Midlands Fire Service and has a passion for helping the communities we serve.

Currently, as the new head of Portfolio, he aims to continue his work supporting the Chief Fire Officer and wider SET team in helping the service to meet its goals and priorities as set out in our Community Risk Management Plan.

Marc holds an Upper Second Class Degree in Leadership & Management and Distinction: Level 6 Chartered Manager (CMI)

Work history

Initially starting out as a firefighter in June 2000, he then held a post as Watch Commander in our research and development team for just over 3 years. Marc also was the manager of Fire Control for nearly two years before working as a senior manager in our Corporate Communications team.

He then moved to be an Operations Manager for Black Country South before becoming the Portfolio Team Manager in January 2022.
