Crews attended in under 5 minutes

Just before 9pm on Friday 8 April, we responded to a fire at The Leys, Darlaston, Walsall. Two fire engines attended, crewed by firefighters from Wednesbury and Willenhall fire stations.

The incident involved a small amount of rubbish that had been deliberately set on fire in a derelict building. A hose reel jet was used to quickly extinguish the fire.

West Midlands Police also attended this incident. There were no casualties.
