RE: FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT 2000 REQUEST
West Midlands Fire Service has now completed its search for the information requested on 28th August 2020 Please find below a summary of our findings.
Please see attached.
Please note information related to registration and fleet numbers is exempt under Section 38 of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 as disclosing this information is likely to endanger individual fire service personnel. These identifiers specifically identify individual resources that may respond to incidents related to community resilience or counter terrorism with other agencies. By publishing registration could expose vulnerabilities in resilience arrangements and thus endanger fire-fighter safety. It is acknowledged that these could be collected by the requester visiting each station separately but this would require significant effort on behalf of the requester.
Please confirm whether there are any vehicles currently on order or awaiting delivery from suppliers.
The following Vehicles are on order and awaiting delivery 5 “B” Type Fire Appliances, 13 Ford Transit Connect 5 seater Crew Vans, 2 Ford Transit Vans, 1 Mercedes Sprinter van.
