A request for information about traffic calming measures – 17087A
RE: FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT 2000 REQUEST
I am writing to confirm that the West Midlands Fire Service has now completed its search for the information you requested on 04/10/2017.
Please find below a summary of our findings.
Does the fire service have any specific views on traffic-calming measures in principle? Are there measures it would support or not?
There are no specific standard responses to traffic calming measures and each application is addressed in accordance with local risks and the risk that such measures are trying to mitigate. The Fire Service would review the measures recommended and comment accordingly therefore there are no specific measures we would support or otherwise.”
