I am writing to confirm that the West Midlands Fire Service has now completed its search for the information you requested on 1st January 2018
Please find below a summary of our findings.

Please can i ask under the freedom of information throughout the west midlands were any extra resources on duty for new year’s eve night shift this year, if so what resources and where?

New Year’s Eve was maintained at the normal required level of staffing for all night shifts and was not enhanced with additional resources.

Also, for the 4 stations in Coventry can you tell me if between 0000-0800hours on 1st January 2018 did any of the resources attend any incidents / standby at other stations and can you list by station and resources please

Between 00:00 and 08:00 on the 1st of Jan, the PRL at Binley attended a false alarm.
No other incidents/standbys
