Request
Whilst this incident was ongoing was there any fire cover left in Coventry? If so what resources were available at where?
Reply
Following the initial call to the incident 2 cover moves were made into Coventry and Foleshill at 08:42. Following the makeup we made a further 5 cover moves into Coventry’s area between 08:57 and 09:00. These were sent to Binley, Foleshill, Canley and 2 into Coventry.
If further cover had been required we could have used our mutual assistance agreement to request support from Warwickshire.
Depending on the nature of any incidents that may have occurred at the same time of the Hospital incident, we could have also redirected a resource from the hospital and replaced these with a further pump moving into the area.
