RE: FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT 2000 REQUEST
I am writing to confirm that the West Midlands Fire Service has now completed its search for the information you requested on 26th November 2018.
Please find below a summary of our findings.
I would like to request information on all fire and rescue incidents over the past 5 years. If available, could this contain date and time of individual incidents, building type or other fire type, location (lat, long and/or post code), as well as number of hoses used or equivalent if possible. Could this information be made available in electronic format: excel or csv if possible.
Please see attached.
Please note that we do not supply addresses, incident lat/long coordinates or postcode data as this would identify individual households and would be a breach of the Data Protection Act 2018
For hose usage, please refer to columns U (hosereel) and V (main jet).
If you have any queries about this Freedom of Information request, please contact me. Please remember to quote the reference number above in any future communications. If you are unhappy with the service you have received in relation to your request and wish to make a complaint or request a review of our decision please write to The Public Relations Department, West Midlands Fire Service, 99 Vauxhall Road, Birmingham, B7 4HW
