A request asking for information around fires in public houses (pubs.)
FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT 2000 REQUEST
West Midlands Fire Service has now completed its search for the information requested on 17th August
Please find below a summary of our findings.
I would like to know how many fires the fire service has attended at public houses each year from 2010-2014. I would also like to know how many fires were attended from January-June in 2015.
I would like to know a list of fire causes recorded in the same time period, and the number of times each cause was recorded in each year.
I’m particularly interested in the amount of fires caused by wood burning stoves, but understand that category may not be available, in which case all other information will suffice.
Public House Fires
Unfortunately we don’t have an option for ‘Wood burning stove’ in the list of sources of ignition.
