RE: FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT 2000 REQUEST

I am writing to confirm that the West Midlands Fire Service has now completed its search for the information you requested on 7th November 2018.

Please find below a summary of our findings.

Request

Statistics on how many calls the west midlands fire service got on the 5th of November and the days leading up to it that were firework or bonfire related. I’d also love to get a quote from someone about the stats and how people can avoid incidents when handling fireworks.

We have had 543 calls relating to bonfire or fireworks from 15th October 2015 to the 5th November 2018.
