I am writing to confirm that the West Midlands Fire Service has now completed its search for the information you requested on 23rd March 2016

Please find below a summary of our findings.

Request

What percentage of staff in operational roles (including those seconded to non operational roles but with the capacity to return to operational roles) were men/women during the last three years, and what is the current figure?

Please provide the number of male and female firefighters in operational roles that these percentages represent:

From 1st January 2013 – 31st December 2013.

From 1st January 2014 – 31st December 2014.

From 1st January 2015 – 31st December 2015.

From 1st January 2016 – present
