I am writing to confirm that the West Midlands Fire Service has now completed its search for the information you requested on 25th February 2019

Currently we have 109 social media accounts. 5 of these are corporate accounts, the others represent other stations or departments within West Midlands Fire Service.

There were approximately 147 social media accounts representing the service at that time. 5 of these are corporate accounts, the others represent other stations or departments within West Midlands Fire Service.

  1. How many inbound social media questions, queries or complaints did you receive during the period 1st January 2019 to 31st January 2019?
  2. How many inbound social media questions, queries or complaints did you receive during the period 1st January 2018 to 31st January 2018?

This information is exempt under section 1 of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 as we do not hold this information. We do not collect the numbers of inbound questions and queries via social media.

  2. 12 months ago – as of the 31st January 2018 – how many people in your organisation were managing and responding to inbound social media questions, queries and complaints?

This information is exempt under section 1 of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 as we do not hold this information. All social media questions, queries and complaints for our corporate social media accounts are handled by our corporate communications department. Information on who manages these queries for the other station and department accounts is not available as they are managed locally .

  2. What was your average response time across all of your social media accounts during the period of 1st January 2018 to 31st January 2018?
