A request for information about Fires at the Quarry, Cockhill, Rubery – 18101
RE: FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT 2000 REQUEST
I am writing to confirm that the West Midlands Fire Service has now completed its search for the information you requested on 30th June 2018.
Please find below a summary of our findings.
Can you confirm from January 2018 to the date the FOI is sent, how many times have WMFS been called out to a fire at The Quarry on cockhill Lane Rubery.
Please can you confirm the incident date, what stations attended, what vehicle type and the start / finish time of the vehicles.

Finally please can you confirm how many engines are being sent to assist Manchester fire with the mores and what cover will be provided to the stations that are being sent.
Our records show the following was mobilised.
1 PRL from Walsall
1 PRL from Fallings Park
1 Prime mover from Hay Mills
1 PRL reserve
An appliance Highgate was placed at Fallings Park to be used by the duty watches. Over the period that Walsall appliance was away there were several short term standbys sent in to Walsall.
Resources sent were back in West Midlands at 1200hrs today (6th July)
