I am writing to confirm that the West Midlands Fire Service has now completed its search for the information you requested on 30th October 2017
Please find below a summary of our findings.
- Between November 2 2016 and October 30 2017 how many fire deaths has your fire service recorded where emollient/paraffin-based cream was listed as a factor?
- Between November 2 and October 30 2017 how many fire incidents were you called to in which a person was injured but did not die, where emollient/paraffin-based cream was listed as a factor.
- Could you please state whether your incident reporting system contains a category specifically for reporting the presence of emollient/paraffin creams?
The IRS system does not have a category specially for reporting the presence of emollient / paraffin creams.
