Request

how much is it for a brigade response vehicle to send out (hourly including vat)?

Reply

West Midlands Fire Service currently charge £189.60 per hour including VAT for a BRV.

Request

Also for a kitchen fire, how many BRVs could be sent out?

Reply

Our level of response for property fires is a minimum of 8 personnel, this would include a PRL, it is difficult to say how many BRV’s could be sent to an incident as it depends on the resource requirements of each incident.  Also with dynamic mobilisation fire control operators may reduce or increase the level of response to incidents depending on information received at point of call.
