- What inspections activities does the West Midlands Fire Service perform?
West Midlands Fire service carries out inspections to ensure compliance with the Fire Safety Order across the business community, taken form an electronic risk based inspection programme
- How many inspections (of each type if possible) were performed in 2019/20?
This information is exempt under section 21 of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 as this information is reasonably accessible to the requestor. West Midlands Fire Service currently employs the following inspectors :

West Midlands Fire Service does not use any third parties to perform inspections
- What information management system, if any, do you use to manage the inspections, and what was the annual spend on this in 2019/20
West Midlands fire Service uses an inhouse system called RIDGE, this has been developed to maintain our legal compliance of using a risk based inspection programme to identify and carry out our fire safety inspections in line with the Fire Safety Order
