I am writing to confirm that the West Midlands Fire Service has now completed its search for the information you requested on 8th November 2019.

Please find below a summary of our findings.


I am requesting any information you have on Twitter campaigns/ads you have done in the last 2 years, to include what tweets were promoted, the demographic targeted, the budget and actual spend.


The only twitter advertisements used by West Midlands Fire Service during the 2 year period specified was advert promoting Into the Fire from December 28th 2017 to 31st December 2017. This was the tweet that was promoted:

The advert was targeted to the UK and Birmingham, no other demographics were selected. It was boosted to reach more people to promote Into the Fire at the time of it’s release.

The total budget allocated for this was originally £60. The total actual spend was £48. To the best of my knowledge, this was the only paid social media on Twitter for the time period specified.
