West Midlands Fire Service has now completed its search for the information requested on 21st July 2019
Please find below a summary of our findings.
- THE NUMBER OF CARE FACILITIES WITHIN THE FIRE SERVICE AREA, FOR CLARITY I REQUIRE THE NUMBER OF RESIDENTIAL AND NURSING HOMES THAT YOU HAVE LISTED ON YOUR RECORDS FOR THE PERIOD APRIL 2018 – MARCH 2019.
- THE NUMBER OF ROUTINE INSPECTIONS UNDERTAKEN AT THESE PREMISES APRIL 2018 – MARCH 2019
- THE NUMBER OF INSPECTIONS UNDERTAKEN FOLLOWING A COMPLAINT APRIL 2018 – MARCH 2019
We have received 537 complaints from April 2018 to March 2019 for residential and nursing homes, each property has an individual file and we will have to locate, retrieve and extract the information from each one. I estimate that above request will exceed the appropriate time limit set under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 to fulfil your request. Therefore the information you have requested is exempt under section 12 of the Freedom of Information Act 2000. If you wish for us to proceed with supplying you the information, we will have to issue you a fee notice which will have to be paid in full before we release the information.
