I am writing to confirm that the West Midlands Fire Service has now completed its search for the information you requested on 31st October 2016

Please find below a summary of our findings.

I was wondering if there has been any recorded cases of fires being cause by wireless routers/modems.

West Midlands Fire Service has not attended any incidents between 01/11/11 and 01/11/16 where either ‘modem’ or ‘wireless router’ has been recorded as the source of ignition.
