I am writing to confirm that the West Midlands Fire Service has now completed its search for the information you requested on 6th July
Please find below a summary of our findings.
Please advise the total staff headcount that are employed directly by West Midlands Fire Service, with each part-time employee counted as one employee. Please exclude all temporary agency workers from this figure.
As of 1.7.16 there are 1967 staff headcount employed directly by West Midlands Fire Service (1475 Uniformed, 435 Non-Uniformed and 57 Fire Control).
Please identify each supplier that West Midlands Fire Service has a contract with to supply temporary agency workers.
West Midlands Fire Service has a contract to supply temporary agency workers from Brook Street (UK) Ltd
Please identify: a. the type of contract that West Midlands Fire Service has with each of these suppliers (preferred supplier list/ framework/ etc. If framework, please indicate b. which – e.g. MSTAR/ YPO/ Panel London/ Pan London/ NPS All Wales/ Crown Commercial Services/ etc; and c. whether this is on a neutral/ master/ hybrid vender model, or the lot number.
The type of contract that West Midlands Fire Service has is CCS Framework Agreement – lot number RM971
Please advise for each contract identified within (2) above of: a. the current end date of the contract; b. the date(s) that any break clause(s) can be enabled; and c. the length of time of any extension that can be enabled.
The contract above is a 1 year contract from 1st December 2015 with two options to extend by 12 months each.
