I am writing to confirm that the West Midlands Fire Service has now completed its search for the information you requested on 5th December 2017.

Please find below a summary of our findings.

I have been wanting to send a freedom of information request relating to the Organisation’s existing contracts relating to facilities management.

C.      Cleaning and Janitorial
D.      Mechanical And Electrical Maintenance
E.      Property Maintenance And Day To Day Repairs

  3. Annual Spend- Please can you provide me with the spend for each individual supplier
  4. Contract Duration- please note if there are any extensions period available and if so what?

  4. Contract Duration- 1 year
  5. Contract Start – 26th July 2016
  6. Contract Expiry – July 18
  7. Contract Review – July 18
  8. Contract Description – Maintenance of Lifts based at HQ inclusive  Maintenance, availability of spares, call back during working hours (labour only), replacement of defective car lights, highest priority for entrapped people and E-alarm service.
  9. No of sites – one site HQ  – 5 lifts
  10. Air Conditioning and Ventilation Servicing and Maintenance
  11. Contract Type – Heating & Ventilation Maintenance & Reactive Repairs 2014-2018
  12. Existing Supplier – J Tomlinson
  13. Annual Spend – £13,410.50
  14. Contract Duration – 2 years with an option for a further 2
  15. Contract Start – 1/6/14
  16. Contract Expiry – 31/5/18
  17. Contract Review –  Jan 2018
  18. Contract Description- Maintenance and reactive repairs for heating and ventilation
  19. Number of sites covered for each contract  – all West Midlands sites
  20. Cleaning and Janitorial

Cleaning is carried out in house by cleaners employed by West Midlands Fire Service.

  2. Contract Type – Framework agreement for reactive repairs (plumbing, electrical, building, roofing works)
  3. Existing Supplier –

Lot 1 – plumbing work:1. B.N. North: 2. Hardyman & co: 3. Swift maintenance services

Lot 2 – electrical work: 1. Drewmark Building Services: 2. Hardyman & co; 3. Laker BMS

Lot 3 – building work: 1. Drewmark Building Services; 2. Tyzander; 3. Hardyman & Co

  1. Contract Duration – four years total –  2 years plus the option for a further 2 years
  2. Contract Start – 01-Jan-13
  3. Contract Expiry – 31-Dec-18
  4. Contract Review – 1st Aug 2018
  5. Contract Description – The Framework Agreement is for reactive maintenance of works that comprise of day to day emergency repairs together with short term repairs to rectify immediate problems.
  6. Number of sites covered for each contract – all WMFRA Sites

In regards to the types of contracts I have displayed above can you please send the Organisation’s primary contracts? Or can you please send me the contract that are above £1000.

Also, so that I understand the information you have provided to me please state information if the Organisation doesn’t have any contract I have stated within this request.
