Employment Type: Part-time (120 days during term time)

Duration of employment: Fix term 12 months contract

Job location: Safeside, 101 Vauxhall Road, Nechells, Birmingham, B7 4HW OR Handsworth Community Fire Station, 41 Rookery Road, Birmingham, B21 9QU

Working hours: 09:30-15:00 during term time, with some training and development outside of this time.

Salary: £19,554 pro-rata (£6,690.60 per annum)

The team of Prevention Practitioners will be responsible for the day to day delivery of programmes at both Safeside centres and will work with groups of up to 30 children, dependant on the programme delivery.   The Prevention Practitioner will lead on each of the scenario settings and  support and guide the Prevention Advocate Volunteers.

Induction and ongoing training will be provided for this role so no formal qualifications are needed.
