Employment Type: Full time

Duration of employment: Temporary 18 month contract

Job location: West Midlands Fire Service Headquarters, 99 Vauxhall Road, Nechells, Birmingham, B7 4HW

Working hours: 37 hours per week

Salary: £47,600 – 49,889

You will support the Service in providing continuous improvement in the provision of Health, Safety and Wellbeing across the organisation as well as ensuring the delivery of our statutory responsibilities and delivering best practice.

You will have experience of enhancing the wellbeing agenda and integrating Health & Safety and Occupational Health Teams.

With experience of implementing change within an organisation, you will have a proven track record of leading and managing others effectively.

You will have the ability to successfully influence others and have highly developed communication skills. With high levels of emotional intelligence, you will be able to work with a wide range of people, advising and guiding on organisational strategy.

You will be able to identify areas for improvement within a functional area and use digital solutions where appropriate to enhance working.

Possession of the NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent is essential.
