The successful Change Communication Manager will have experience in delivering systems-based processes, stakeholder mapping and understand how to manage cultural and behavioural change. They will need to be proficient in project management, designing and aligning a bespoke communications and engagement plan, to guide our staff through effective engagement, within the project timelines.

You will need to be emotionally intelligent, and experience of leading people, their development, and communications. You will need to have the ability to challenge and support senior members of the Service, whilst displaying high levels of confidence and resilience.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is ambitious, politically insightful and sees themselves gaining experience working at the heart of our Service.

You will have the ability to communicate and translate strategy into actionable plans and results. You will also be able to demonstrate exceptional people and team leadership skills coupled with operational judgement, and the ability to listen, engage and influence relationships across a wide stakeholder group.


Essential skills:
• 3+ years’ experience in change and / or internal communications roles (in-house or agency).
• Proven success in developing and executing change communications strategies and campaign plans.
• Evidence of understanding and successful application of change management and / or communication theory.
• Excellent writing and editing skills.
• Resilient and able to deal with ambiguity.
• Strong people skills.

Preferred skills:
• Degree-level qualification in strategic communications, public relations, internal communication, or journalism.
• Membership of professional body (e.g. CIPR, IOIC).
