The successful candidate will be managing Fire Safety Team Leaders, implement Fire Safety projects, work in partnership with local businesses and engaging with NFCC.
The role will include horizon scanning to understand any future changes that may impact on the delivery of our statuary responsibility and to ensure we are legal and sector standard compliant.
You will need to work collaboratively, maximising opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness of the delivery of services to reduce risk and vulnerability and strengthening the economy through collaborative and inclusive approaches.
The successful applicant will need a proven track record of strong leadership skills and personal accountability, who is able to engage, inspire and motivate a wide range of staff. With a forward-thinking approach, you will have the vision, drive and passion to not only continue developing internal and external relationships but to be a key member of the leadership team to seek continual improvement and excellence in delivery of Protection services.
The successful applicants will have excellent communication skills and political awareness, you will need to have the confidence to work with partners across the Fire Safety Sector and wider.
You will need experience of managing and driving a culture of change with the ability to provide effective performance management, work within the principles of project management and continuous development within Protection. Knowledge, qualification and experience in Fire Safety is desirable to support the role.
