A request for information about calls attended to assist Ambulance Service for 2015 to 2017 & how many whole time firefighters -17075

I am writing to confirm that the West Midlands Fire Service has now completed its search for the information you requested on 6th July 2017
Please find below a summary of our findings.
How many callouts did your service attend, in each of 2015-16 and 2016-17, on behalf of the ambulance service?
West Midlands Fire Service does not attend calls on behalf of the Ambulance Service, however do get calls to assistance sometimes e.g. bariatric rescue, but we do not attend on their behalf. Please see data for ambulance assistance for years 2015-16 and 2016-17 below.
What income did your service receive, in each of 2015-16 and 2016-17, from ambulance trusts for these callouts?
West Midlands Fire does not charge for call outs if there is a risk to life or property.
Please also state how many a) wholetime and b) retained firefighters you had as of the start of the current financial year.
West Midlands Fire Service has 845.6 FTE (full time equivalent) whole time firefighters and non retained firefighters.
Please note headcount of all riders which including Firefighters, Crew Commanders and Watch Commanders is 1220.
