Our Performance

Effective performance management is a core element to the achievement of our key priorities and enables us to provide high quality services. As a continuously improving organisation we aim to provide a service that is efficient, effective, economical and represents value for money.

In May 2010 the Comprehensive Area Assessment Framework was abolished. This framework was used by the Audit Commission to assess the performance of all public bodies, including West Midlands Fire Service. Prior to abolition , the majority of work to assess our performance for the Financial Year 2009/2010 had been undertaken. The key findings are captured in our Annual Audit Letter 2009/10 and a link to this document is provided below.
