At 16:25 this afternoon (Wednesday), Fire Control received an emergency call to reports of a road traffic collision with people trapped.
Two fire engines from Coventry were sent to the scene in Gosford Green, Coventry, where crews found that two private motor vehicles had been in collision on the roadway. One woman - believed to be suffering from spinal injuries - was released by firefighters using specialist cutting equipment and taken to hospital by ambulance.
