Horse rescue, Charlemont Farm, West Bromwich

At 11:22 this morning (Tuesday 20 July), a crew from West Bromwich fire station responded to an emergency call to Charlemont Farm, Watery Lane.

A horse had become stuck in three feet of metal fencing. Within 40 minutes, crews had safely released a horse using specialist cutting equipment and bolt croppers. A veterinary surgeon also attended the scene and concerned that the horse did not suffer any injuries.
