The Media Relations Team aims to provide the press with information on a wide range of West Midlands Fire Service activities, from community safety initatives to incidents that crews have attended.

If you need to speak to someone outside normal office hours and during weekends and Public holidays, call Fire Control on +44(0)845 5000 900 and ask to speak to the Duty Press Officer. We have a number of dedicated officers who are media trained and will be happy to deal with your call
West Midlands Fire Service also operates a media voicebank, which is updated 24 hours a day, seven days a week, with details about incidents that crews have attended. The voicebank number is +44 (0)871 550 0056.
