The media team aim to provide journalists with information on a wide range of West Midlands Fire Service activities, from community safety initatives to incidents that crews have attended. The press office is staffed from Monday to Friday during normal office hours. Outside of office hours - including public holidays, you can call Fire Control on +44(0)845 5000 900 and ask to speak to the Duty Press Officer. We have a number of dedicated officers who are media trained and will be happy to deal with your enquiry.
West Midlands Fire Service also operates a media voicebank, which is updated 24 hours a day, seven days a week and has details about incidents that crews have attended. The voicebank number is +44 (0)871 550 0056.
