Emergency First Aid At Work

Who should attend?
Staff nominated to give First Aid assistance within the workplace.

Aim
To train delegates in the specific role of Emergency First Aid at work. This course supersedes the old Appointed Person Course.

Course Content

• First Aid regulations 
• Managing an incident
• The priorities of first aid
• Treatment of an unconscious casualty
• Resuscitation
• Shock
• Bleeding
• Common workplace injuries

Benefits
All delegates will be able to offer First Aid assistance to colleagues in a safe and risk assessed manner. It will also teach the skills of basic life saving. All delegates will receive an Emergency First Aider at Work certificate that will be valid for three years.
